Assignment Clarification:
This position/assignment is a temporary (HR to confirm specific range of dates.) You will be considered an employee of System One, our 3 rd party partner of our contractor population, and/or of your specific freelance agency.
Freelance Photographer:
American Eagle Outfitters is looking for a dynamic fashion photographer with an extensive portfolio to work in our e-commerce photo studio.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven understanding of the fashion industry and the ability to raise the creative bar through commercially relevant imagery. The ability to work within and across large, interdependent teams is a must, so the right person will have an understanding of the balance needed between creativity, communication, and collaboration.
Responsibilities of this role include:Take direction from studio creative leads and collaborate on daily shoots with team members to follow style guides and produce consistent on figure product shots for AEO e-commerceContinually achieve productivity and seasonal deadlines while maintaining established brand standardsShoot supplemental assets as needed for email, stores and web setQualifications:
Online portfolio that demonstrates expertise and judgment in the applied techniques ofon-figure fashion photography (composition, lighting, capture, and processing), as well as pre-production and post-production stepsMinimum of 5 years experience in commercial studio photographyKnowledge of common digital capture platforms (Canon/Nikon DSLRs, medium format systems); various lighting environments (strobe, continuous light); and best practices/conventions for grip and set safetyKnowledge of Broncolor, Profoto, and Arri lightingFluency in Capture One and PhotoshopWorking knowledge of Mac OSX and PC computing platformsPay/Benefits Information:
