Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Materials Technician (3rd Shift) to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Maxton, NC.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Ensure Accurate Inventory Management: By meticulously receiving, sorting, labeling, and storing goods, you will help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse. Enhance Safety Standards: Your adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and proactive reporting of hazards will contribute to a safer workplace for everyone. Improve Quality Control: Performing quality checks and identifying non-conforming materials will help minimize errors and ensure that only the best products are dispatched. Optimize Warehouse Space: Efficiently arranging storage and managing space will maximize the warehouse's capacity and streamline operations. Boost Delivery Efficiency: By accurately picking, packing, and dispatching goods, you will ensure timely and accurate deliveries, meeting customer expectations. Promote Team Collaboration: Effective communication and teamwork will foster a collaborative environment, enhancing overall productivity and morale. Support Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in training and improvement initiatives will help refine processes, improve safety, and enhance material flow.
