Bank of Hillsboro is a community bank locally owned and operated in Hillsboro, IL with 12 branch locations. We are currently seeking a Commercial/ Agricultural Loan officer to join our team in Greenville, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for a current commercial lender or motivated banking professional with 5 plus years of banking experience.
The Commercial/Ag Loan Officer delivers industry knowledge and local experience to clients - including corporations, municipalities, non-for-profit organizations, real estate investors and owners with annual revenue from $200,000 to $5 million. The primary goal is to grow and retain profitable relationships within the markets we serve. Under the supervision of the Senior Lending Team, this individual will work to deliver value added solutions to clients while mitigating risk to the bank and adding profitability.
Detailed Description:
Demonstrate skills to develop and retain new and profitable relationships in a highly competitive marketWork with teammates, partners and other professionals to deliver comprehensive solutions to the client that result in a highly satisfied customer experienceIdentify opportunities to cross sell across the banks various products.Have outstanding professional reputation, integrity and community involvementService assigned customer relationships by pro-actively evaluating and mitigating risks and opportunities as established by the policies and procedures of Bank of HillsboroDemonstrate responsibility of the credit and continued monitoring of commercial portfolio risks.Responsible for pre-underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and credit quality of assigned portfolio working directly with the underwriting staff and Senior Lending Officer.Manage delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base certificates, portfolio reviews, collection of required periodic financials, annual credit reviews, etc.Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of banking or accounting background requiredBachelor's Degree in accounting or finance preferred or equivalent related experienceAdvanced sales, negotiation and communication skills requiredBeing detailed oriented and self-motivated is a mustKnowledge of bank products and continual development of product expertise required
