Job Description

Our Transaction Advisory Services practice provides seamless analytical advisory through the deal continuum, from transaction origination to closing. Day-to-day responsibilities:Preparing analytical schedules to be used in discussions with Management of target companiesIdentifying transaction focus areas based on preliminary analysisResearching technical accounting topics for contemplated transactionsResearching public industry and competitor information relevant to the target companyAnalyzing cyclicality of target's business and working capital trendsInvestigating contingent liabilities, off-balance sheet items and related party transactionsAnalyzing quality of earnings and non-recurring itemsReviewing target company's accounting policies for proper application of GAAPParticipating in discussions held with ManagementContributing to the report-writing processEssential traits:

Bachelor or Master of Science/Business Administration in Accounting from an accredited college or universityMinimum of 1 year related accounting or finance work experiencePublic accounting experienceCPA or CPA eligibleStrong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrityAbility to master new tasks quicklyProficiency in Microsoft Office, with focus on Word and ExcelAbility to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environmentDemonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding resultsFlexibility to travel, as neededExcellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communitiesExperience working with diverse teams
