Job Summary

The Chief People Officer (CPO) is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. The CPO will drive the company's people strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. Provide guidance and leadership to the HR team.

- Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent. Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies.

-Employee Development: Create and manage programs for employee training, development, and succession planning. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee feedback processes.

-Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

- Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and fairly.

- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Mitigate HR-related risks.

- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and promote an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.

- Organizational Development: Drive organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions. Ensure smooth transitions and alignment with business goals.

- HR Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.

- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to think strategically and execute operationally.

- Experience with HR software and analytics tools.

- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
