Description

Job Purpose

The Accounting Intern assists the Finance and Accounting functions in various tasks and projects

Key duties and responsibilities

Import corporate credit card transactions and reconcile credit card statementsProcess employee expense report transactionsCalculate use tax paymentsMonitor and reconcile accounts payableAssist in monthly, quarterly, and year end closeAssist with annual financial audit preparationOther projects and duties as assignedQualifications

Qualifications include:

Pursing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in AccountingCompletion of financial and managerial accounting coursesProficient at Excel (QuickBooks knowledge/experience a plus)Extremely organized with high attention to detailEffective written and oral communication skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsEffective at prioritizing tasksAbility to work independently and as part of a team

Credits

This is a paid internship; which also may be used for course credit.
