Job Purpose

•Inspect and maintain NDT equipment for operation;•Magnetic particle inspection and record required inspection data; complete reports daily;•Inspect gauges and straightedges;•Works under the supervision of QA Supervisor/Manager;•Perform other functions or assist in other departments.

Key Job Elements

•Demonstrate knowledge of Visual Inspection Criteria, AREMA welding specifications, perform non-destructive magnetic particle testing on welds per Magnetic Particle Inspection Instruction;•Inspect every product for tolerance and any defective product.

Qualifications and Experience

•Experience with work in an industrial setting;•Able to lift 45 lbs;•Level II Certificate in Magnetic Particle Inspection;•Complete understanding of customer and AREMA weld tolerances and ability to detect defects.
