Position Summary:The Spa Attendant performs a full spectrum of cleaning and laundry duties in the spa and salon.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Duties include but are not limited to the following:Display a professional, positive and respectful attitude towards clients and coworkers at all timesMaintaining the laundry for both the spa and salon including picking up laundry from various points in the spa and salonAbility to perform a variety of cleaning duties for the spa and salon including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, dishes, cleaning the bathrooms, and taking out the trashAdhering to daily cleaning schedulesMaintaining client areas ie: the lounge, locker room, and retail areasAttend and participate in departmental and spa staff meetingsPresent a polished and professional image at all timesA sensitivity to unnecessary waste of product and a willingness to act to reduce wasteCompleting side work and closing duties as directed by Department Head or ManagerA genuine team spirit and flexible attitudeAbility to exemplify milk + honeys 4 Principles in every interaction with clients and coworkersAdherence to all Attendance and Punctuality policies in the handbookQualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
Must have weekend and evening availabilitySpecial Considerations:The ability to work nights, weekends and some holidaysAbility to lift up to 25lbsAbility to hear so as to effectively understand customers needsAbility to sustain reasonable physical activity for the duration of a scheduled shift
