We are actively seeking a talented IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. As a member of BETA's helpdesk, you'll be the frontline for IT support, helping resolve technology issues efficiently and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position will initially follow a Monday-Friday schedule during the training period. Afterward, your role will transition to weekend coverage, providing essential IT support on our busy manufacturing floor.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
Provide end-user support to resolve computer hardware, software, audio video, basic networking, printing, and other technology-related issues in a timely and professional manner Be the first point of contact for IT issues, delivering exceptional service to our users Utilize an electronic ticketing system for opening, closing, resolving, escalating, and tracking requests and activities Maintain and install conference room audio video systems and related equipment Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions Plan and conduct new hire training related to the use of hardware and productivity software Create and maintain IT documentation in a detailed manner Participate in team meetings and corporate activities Minimum Qualifications:
Proficiency in troubleshooting across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems Experience in administration and provisioning of user accounts and devices Exposure to Google Admin, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, and Apple Business Manager Strong technical writing skills for creating clear and detailed documentation Above and Beyond Qualifications:
Experience with Atlassian products like Confluence and Jira Knowledge of workplace communication tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and ALM software like PLEX, Polarion, 3DX, and Solidworks Basic understanding of common scripting in Powershell Ability to troubleshoot or diagnose network issues Experience with installing and supporting audio-video equipment Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary Off-hours work is sometimes required to perform off-hours system maintenance Occasional travel may be required for on-site support and system installations
