CNC Machinist | Second Shift - Direct Hire | Mason, OH
We are looking for a CNC Machinist for this awesome company located in Mason, OH. Essential duties include but are not limited to:Set-up and operate a variety of CNC machines including 3,4, and 5 axis milling machines, VTL's, horizontal lathes, creep feed and 5 axis grinders.Upload/download and edit CNC programs as required.Follow all policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPEAnalyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specificationsVerifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary.Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codesSelects, aligns, and secures fixtures, tooling, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.Analyze, interpret CMM reports, adjust machine offsets to meet customer specificationsPerform Deburr operations to within specified tolerancesOperate overhead crane when necessaryReport proper labor hours in the ERP systemMaintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping dutiesCapable of running multiple machines, when assignedDemonstrates the ability to lift 35 pounds regularlyQualifications :
High school diploma or GED requiredGood and reliable attendance and a positive attitude are a mustExperience in tight tolerances as well as super alloy metalsExperience with Fanuc/Okuma/Mitsubishi controls.Experience running 3,4,5 axis machinery.Experience running a Makino T1 Mill is ideal but not requiredWorked at high-end shops that would be comparable to us such as Metalex, Magna Machine, General Tool, or Midstate Machine etc.Able to pass a background and drug screening
Schedule :
Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12am *OT is never mandatory but may be requested*
Pay:
$23-30/hr with 15% shift differential
