The
Inspector
will perform visuals, mechanical and non-destructive examination and test of all equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and direct daily job duties with Inspector HelpersTrain, direct, and oversee Inspector Helpers on job related dutiesMaintain accurate reporting on equipment being inspectedEnsure that all specs and procedures are adhered toEnsure that equipment used for inspection is in good working condition and calibratedRead and interpret specifications and proceduresInterpret and record results of inspection and tests. Assign status to productions based on interpretations. Determine utility of equipmentPerform and record nondestructive examination using ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual methodsPerform sampling of applicable processes. Prepare and conduct appropriate tests and inspections on samples, as applicableFollow and adhere to all Quality System and HS&E requirementsCommunicate job status with Facility Inspection Manager and all parties involvedMinimum Requirements:
Certified as an ASNT Level II in NDT methodsKnowledge of inspection methods and techniquesKnowledge of various drilling and production equipment to be inspectedValid U.S. drivers licenseEducation:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent work related experience
