At Cedar Park Pediatric Dentistry, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children from birth through 18 years, addressing their basic dental needs and delivering sparkling, straight smiles with orthodontics. We actively participate in community events and sponsor local schools and activities. We are currently seeking an experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant (minimum of 2 years) who will treat our patients with the utmost care, as if they were family.
As a
Dental Assistant
at our practice, you will support both general and specialty dentists in a fast-paced, efficient office environment. Your role will involve chairside assistance, patient greeting and escorting, radiograph preparation, operatory setup and breakdown, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Additionally, you will support front desk operations by managing appointments, checking in patients, verifying demographics, retrieving charts, documenting treatment plans, and handling various administrative tasks.
Basic Requirements:2+ years of pediatric dental experienceVocational/Technical training or Associate's DegreeRadiology certification and DPH Dental Assistant LicenseProficiency with dental software, email, and Microsoft WordAbility to lift 25 lbs. with or without accommodationPreferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in taking radiographsStrong knowledge of infection control proceduresExcellent communication and organizational skillsExperience working with patients with special healthcare needs, including cognitive and developmental disabilitiesAbility to interact effectively with patients' parents, guardians, and caregiversStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, well-organized, and able to efficiently manage time and tasksTeam leader with a proactive and positive attitudeBenefits:
