Essential Functions

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

Responsibilities:Maintain safety as the number one focus for all duties and tasks. Participate in company safety programs and assist with incident investigations when applicableMust be able to pass and maintain powered equipment (forklift, etc.) certification which includes following all safety protocols, inspections, training, and recertificationUtilize SAP transactions with 100% compliance throughout the warehouse and production movement processCommunicate effectively with the Logistics Supervisor regarding approvals as well as inventory deviations. Some documented reporting will be requiredContinually review count findings, formulate improvements, and submit to the Logistics Supervisor for approval of actionsIdentify and report any defects whether inbound or within the movement process immediately to the Logistics Supervisor and Logistics Team LeadRead, understand, and follow all policies within the training program and employee handbookReport any safety violations to supervisor or team lead immediatelyPerform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean workspaceMaintain compliance of all monthly and annual trainingOther duties may be requiredSupervisory Responsibilities:

Required Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required1 or more years in a warehousing/logistics role in inventory controlPreferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Associate degree or higher post-secondary educationMinimum of 2 years in a warehousing/logistics role with focus of inventory controlIntermediate knowledge of SAP cycle counting processIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft ExcelCommunicate well through written and verbal methodsInterpersonal skills that promote collaboration within multiple workstreamsMust be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risksWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements :

Duties are performed in a warehouse environment using industrial forklifts or other material movement equipmentMust be able to lift 50 lbs. regularlyMust be able to lift 75 lbs. occasionallyMust be able to stand for the entire shiftSome overtime may be required depending on division's needs
