Sets up, tries, and develops new tooling including but not limited to new rolls, pre-notch dies, and cutoff dies which have been made to design Specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models or descriptions and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts Perform tooling maintenance which includes analysis of work required to restore progressive dies, tools, fixture and gauges back to production readiness Build replacement tooling, new die components, gauges and fixtures to close tolerances as per part drawingsConsult with operations, engineering, and tool planner on optimum product design to fit our capabilities.
