Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting) . This position is located at our Corporate Services Center in Fort Washington, PA.
In this role, you will be responsible for applying principles of accounting to analyze and prepare financial information and reports for monthly, quarterly, annual, and regulatory processes.Essential job functions:Complies and analyzes information to prepare various financial and regulatory reports.Assists with preparation of quarterly reports for bondholders.Assists with preparation of audited financial statements.Responsible for preparing State & Use tax filings and ensuring continued compliance.Responsible to review accuracy of IRS 5500 filings.Assists with Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and renewal applications.Works on annual tax deduction letters for residents and their responsible parties.Prepares financial analysis.
Requirements:The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldCPA certification or other accounting/business certification
(preferred)Minimum of five years' experience in general accounting; public accounting a plusMinimum of three years experience preparing financial statements
