Head Lifeguard
to add to our world-class team.
Position Summary
As an integral part of the aquatics and lifeguard team, our Head Lifeguards inspire members through movement, community, and personal attention. They encourage active, social, and healthier lives by:Demonstrating sound leadership, professionalism, resilience, and optimismEngaging more members in more programs and with more lifeguardsDeveloping and maintaining aquatics areas to promote an enjoyable experienceMonitoring lifeguards and ensuring they are following safety protocolsMaintain a safe swimming environment by enforcing all rules and regulations of the pool and surrounding area.Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations.Perform water rescues and administer basic first aid as needed.Inspect the facility on a daily basis and report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to your manager.Direct swimmers in and out of the pool in hazardous conditions.Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool.Pay rate for Head Lifeguards start at $17.00Our Head Lifeguards:
Have at least two or more years of lifeguard supervisory experienceAre able to effectively provide associate training and developmentPossess nationally recognized certifications in aquatics including: CPR/AED, First Aid, CPO, AFO or equivalent (Preferred)Possess ability to provide multisensory instruction: auditory, visual, tactile, kinestheticDemonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely
