Prestigious investment/ wealth management family office is looking to add a top tier Staff Accountant to the team !!
Duties and Responsibilities
The position includes, but is not limited to:• Manage the accounts payable lifecycle• Develop and maintain account reconciliations• Prepare various account reconciliations during the Monthly/Quarterly/YTD closing process• Research and analysis of income statement accounts• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports (balance sheet and income statement)• Manage and maintain all expenses running through the firms expense management software (employee expense reports, P-Cards, etc.)• Work to develop and maintain firm policies and procedures• Assist the CFO/Controller and/or assistant controller with various ad-hoc projects
Qualifications
A staff accountant typically requires the following qualifications:• Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting required• 5+ years of accounting experience (combination of public and industry a plus)• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus but not required• Knowledge of expense processing software (Bill.com, Certify, Expensify, etc.)• Experience in HRIS's (BambooHR, ADP, Paychex, etc.)• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Highly organized and detail oriented, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and proactively manage conflicting priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and consistency• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to unexpected issues and to work with others• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly entrepreneurial environment• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook
