The firm is ranked Tier 1 for renewable energy and a recognized leader in project financing and energy industries with top clients across solar, wind and battery storage on developing, constructing and being long-term owners of renewable energy assets.This role for a Senior Corporate Project Finance Associate is a technical leadership role to drive several utility-scale renewable energy projects from early-stage site analysis though drafting and negotiating financing, development and M&A matters.This is a leadership role for the business as it requires a creative problem-solving Negotiating Leader who has the personality to influence other junior attorneys within the team. This is why the role can be Senior Associate or Of Counsel level (depending on the candidates experience) as the business is targeting creative problem solvers who have the responsibility and capability to drive the growth and expansion of one of the firm’s largest teams.Key Responsibilities:Senior Project Finance Associate will be working with clients on mid-market and larger transactions involving solar, wind and energy storage projects.Senior Project Finance Associate will often interface with colleagues across offices and practice groups and spend time on telephone and video calls with clientsSenior Project Finance Associate will independently produce client-ready documents and will work with others on complex transactions.Key Requirements:5-9 years of experience with debt and tax equity project finance and M&A, managing deals and teamsEnjoy the challenge of negotiating and drafting complex transactions;Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand how a project serves clients goals;A commitment to client service and team success;Ability to communicate business goals into contract language; andJD from an accredited university.ApplicationIf you are interested in this position, please apply directly on the platform with your latest CV.
