Job Description

SHIFT AVAILABLE:

4-3 Schedule 6p-6a : Wed, Thurs, Fri & Sat is alternating

COMPENSATION:

Starting at $19.50+ (pay based on skill set)

Principal AccountabilitiesInk Technicians maintain the following accountabilities:Job setup for batch ink mixingCreate ink room color standardsReturn, store, and use press returned inksFormulate color matches for customer approval (proofs)Ability to color match at press siteMix adhesives and coatingsConduct computerized color controlClean and use 6S to organize ink room and dispensing systemMaintain and operate solvent distillation equipmentAssist with inventory of raw materialsAssist Press Assistants & Operators during change overs as time permitsAll other duties as assigned by Manufacturing SupervisorQualifications/Requirements

Experience with effective color matching, color theory, and spectrophotometryExperience with press-side ink and color troubleshootingHigh School diploma or equivalentProficient mathematical skills and knowledge of metric conversionAbility to accurately see color in requiredPrior ink, lamination and adhesive handling requiredPrior analytical result evaluation experience preferredAbility to detect and solve problems that may affect the quality of the product, product aesthetics, or product contaminationAbility to lift 50 lbsSolid communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentOpen to a flexible working scheduleOur Expectations
