A client of Insight Global is the nations largest provider of hospice (or end-of-life care) care in the United States, operating 49 hospice programs in the US. Theyre looking for a system engineer to join their team to assist with effective deployment, configuration, operation, and maintenance of employee-facing technology systems. Working under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Client Engineering & Director of IT Support and Client Engineering, this role focuses on the management and administration of applications and systems, ensuring they align with industry best practices and organizational requirements. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:•Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a framework ensuring regular updates and maintenance of desktop images, mobile devices, VDI Infrastructure, and related systems.•Implement VMWare technology solutions for Virtualization, networking and storage infrastructures.•Conduct technical investigations of customer reported issues and perform root cause analysis.•Participate in design decisions.•Contribute to product documentation and manuals.•Perform system maintenance as needed.•Implement IT Change Control processes in coordination with the Client Engineering team.•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in designing and implement technology solutions, emphasizing redundancy, scalability, and security.•Work with leadership to maintain a team dashboard illustrating Key Performance Indicators related to team performance, and environmental performance.•Assist in designing and developing computing solutions that enhance the end-user experience.•Develop and oversee a Quality Assurance program, including pilot groups, to maintain high-quality system output.•Coordinate with IT Support teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and alignment.•Work on creating a consistent user experience across various form factors, including iPhone, iPad, Laptop, Desktops, and VDI.•Identify areas for policy and procedure improvements and provide recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience•3-5+ years experience within system administration and engineering•VDI experience specific to VMWareSCCMDeploying desktopFocus on VDI - virtual desktop infrastructure.Hands on experience with VMware virtualization and/or cloud experienceExperience maintaining an mdm solutionExperience running analytics, imaging, and patching.Non persistent VDI desktopEXP with Verizon, Vsphere,4+ years of MDM management- specifically airwatch - controlling and managing the environment themselves (Full Admin)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience•Certified in ITIL foundation.•MAC Experience - integrating mac management into the environment•WMWare or Microsoft certified•Experience in ControlUp software•Experience with endpoint management solutions Tanium•Azure virtual desktop•Architectural design for virtual environment or desktop•Workspace One (Airwatch)•Powershell

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
