Description
Mittera is looking for a Photographer to join our growing team! This person works with a broad team of creatives, food stylists, clients, production personnel, and others to create innovative, high-quality, on-brand, and beautiful/aesthetically pleasing images for client advertising across multiple media platforms.
The photographer will be responsible for photo planning and set designs using on-trend creative solutions that meet or enhance client/brand standards. This is a diverse and hands-on job involving creativity in proposing and trying different tools, methods, and lighting. The Photographer will collaborate with food and prop Stylists or Creative associates on best practices and food and photography trends.
Responsibilities
Review creative brief to understand specifications, scope of the assignment and work closely with the art team to develop the conceptCapture and process images until you achieve desired resultsConstantly improve image quality using various editing and lighting methodsUse and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses, etc.)Arrange objects, scenes, lighting, and background to adhere to specificationsArchive photographic images and maintain databaseMaintain an in-depth understanding of photographic best practices and proceduresDeliver best-in-class photography, on time and within budgetRequirements
3+ years executing creative advertising photographyPrevious experience with food photography, packaging, and editorialEye-catching portfolioProficient with traditional and modern equipmentShooting, lighting, and printing skillsCompetency in applying photographic best practices and techniquesKnowledge of the production process for online publishing and various printing applicationsMust have a strong conceptual abilityAbility to prioritize, delegate, and complete simultaneous projects effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently with minimal oversightExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong knowledge of industry trends, including the latest stylist techniques, propping, lighting and colors, etc.Adobe Creative Suite preferred, specifically Lightroom and PhotoshopExperience with Canon and EOS Utility is a plusPhotography degree or similarAbility to accept criticism and adapt or modify as neededMittera is a leading-edge company that provides commercial and digital printing, finishing, graphic design, data analytics, direct mail processing, and fulfillment services.
