The Manager, Risk Analytics leads the monitoring, assessment and mitigation of fraud losses and related impacts through careful management of existing and new fraud controls. You will work with data and analytical tools, and collaborate closely with the rest of the Risk Ops team, as well as members from other support teams like Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Product, etc to share their findings, propose changes and/or recommendations, and lead the efforts to drive those changes.

You'll manage a small team of analysts performing similar functions, providing them with training, guidance, feedback and support. You'll report to the Senior Director of Risk Operations.What you'll doRegularly monitor KPIs and metrics related to current fraud and insult trends, present observations and make recommendations to the team on action items based on data & analysisDesign and implement fraud strategies to improve KPIsPropose and drive individual projects within your area of focus to solve known issues as well as anticipated impacts from the changesDefine and follow best practices, strategies and governance on change managementBe a stakeholder in the management of fraud risk and related controls, partnering with various teams to formulate plans to achieve goals and improvement based on dataSkillfully prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities, like reactive and proactive fraud prevention measures and longer-term projectsPartner with the rest of the team on the front lines and offer data driven insights combined with real world experience to our agentsManage fraud vendors and monitor performance of their fraud modelsWork with internal data teams (Science and Analytics) for visualization & reporting needs of the teamManage a team of analysts, taking responsibility for their work, engagement and careerWhat you have3+ years of experience in Fraud management, data analytics, and model/rule building, preferably in the ticketing or similar industry, or in financial services2+ years of people management preferredBachelor's degree or higher (7+ years of experience in related functions in lieu of the educational requirements)Strong understanding of payment systems (like credit cards, eWallets, etc), common fraud vectors, and general controls in fraud prevention, detection and mitigation.Preferred experience using Fraud vendors like Sift, Accertify, Forter, Riskified, Sardine, etcProficiency with spreadsheets like Excel, GoogleSheets, etcExperience using analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, etcStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, while dealing with ambiguity and large quantities of dataAbility to make rational decisions based on data, and summarize those for othersAbility to monitor, manage and report on business metricsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with senior leadersAbility to prioritize projects based on costs, benefits, feasibility and risksComfortable with the game-like aspects of fraud, being in a continual problem solving modePerksEquity stakeFlexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you'd like or 100% remotelyA WFH stipend to support your home office setupUnlimited PTOUp to 16 weeks of paid family leave401(k) matching programHealth, vision, dental, and life insuranceUp to $25k towards family building services$500 per year for wellness expensesSubscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical$120 per month to spend on tickets to live eventsAnnual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music

The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
