Salary: $28 - $35 per hour

Since the 1950's, our client has been providing engineered solutions to the appliance and heavy truck/automotive industries.

$28 - $33/hr base rate (depending on experience)

2nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2pm to 1030pm

3rd Shift: Monday through Friday, 10pm - 630am

$1.50/hr shift differential

Yearly Raises

• Install, troubleshoot and/or repair basic electrical equipment.
• Interpret basic blueprints or other specifications for electrical, pneumatics, mechanical and plumbing applications.
• Install and repair fire lines and other types of plumbing.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks throughout the facility.
• Conduct waste water operations as needed.
• Use safe practices in repairing, checking equipment using tag-out procedures.
• Operate drills, grinders, mills, press and/or other machine tools to fabricate, modify, and/or repair machinery and/or make mechanical parts or pieces as needed.
• Clean and lubricate equipment per maintenance schedule.

Education, Skills and Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Blueprint reading abilities for electrical, mechanical, pneumatics and plumbing systems as well as engineering drawings (i.e., facility layout)
• Ability to use a variety of precise measuring instruments such as tape measure, micrometer, calipers, voltmeter and amp probe.
• Oral and written communication skills
• Mechanical ability to use tools of the trade, e.g. drill presses, lathes mills and grinders etc.
• Welding capabilities (stick/tig)
• Lift truck skills-requires successful completion of lift truck training/examination.
• Plumbing skills desired
