Production Assistant

Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for a Production Assistant for a machine shop in Harrison Township, MI.

Pay rate: $17

Shift: 2:00pm to 10:40pm Monday-Friday (overtime based upon production needs).

General Description: Responsible for helping machine operators with production

If the candidate shows potential they may be trained as an operator.

Duties:

• Cleaning and deburring of parts
• Counting and organizing
• Part finishing
• Sanding and polishing
• Helping operators que material for the next job to be processed
• Assisting operators package orders in preparation for shipment
• Shop upkeep and area maintenance
• Previous experience operating Hi-Lo (preferred)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
• High School diploma
• Prior relevant work experience is helpful
• Must be dependable
