Production Assistant

Pay Rate

$17 - $18 per hour

Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM

• Occasional Saturdays
• Overtime opportunities based on production needs

As a Production Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting multiple departments, ensuring smooth and efficient production. Your tasks will vary day-to-day, making the work dynamic and engaging.

• Laser Department

  Assist with cutting and deburring metal parts.

  
  

• Spot-Welding

  Support spot welding operations and clean assemblies for quality output.

  
  

• Press Room

  Help with shearing and stamping parts.

  
  

• Shipping Department

  Assist in packaging and transporting materials (chauffeur’s license required).

  
  

• Equipment Operation

  Safely use angle grinders, wire wheels, and punch presses to create quality components.

  
  

• Material Handling

  Operate Hi-Lo and other material handling equipment (Hi-Lo license required).

  
  

• ERP System

  Scan jobs in and out to ensure efficient tracking of production.

  
  

• Maintain a Clean Workspace

  Keep the shop and work areas tidy and organized for maximum productivity.

• Experience with hand tools, metal cutting tools, tape measures, and calipers.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications, work orders, and work instructions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively report quality issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Chauffeur’s and Hi-Lo licenses required (or willingness to obtain).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
