Senior Financial Analyst, Brokerage Central Finance

The Role

The Senior Financial Analyst role provides an exciting opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the Fidelity Brokerage businesses. As part of the Central Team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic insights and analysis to measure and evaluate the financial performance of the business. In addition, this role will be instrumental in the budgeting, planning, and forecasting process for Fidelity Brokerage along with supporting the organization regarding Headcount and P&L governance, reporting and insights. The candidate will be a key contributor to the development of executive presentations which will be used across multiple forums and widely across the enterprise. This role will provide an opportunity to work across the company and partner with the finance teams across the firm. Success will require an analytic attitude, strong collaboration skills, comprehensive problem solving, independent thinking, and intellectual curiosity.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

\u00B7 A bachelor s degree in finance, economics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree a plus

\u00B7 5+ years of professional experience in Finance with a successful track record in financial modeling, planning and analysis; 3+ years of experience with advanced degree

\u00B7 Financial services experience or experience in Retail Investing a plus

\u00B7 Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, ThinkCell), business intelligence tools (PowerBI), and experience in Anaplan

\u00B7 A self-motivated teammate who brings energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity

\u00B7 Strong organizational skills and working with detailed processes and data

\u00B7 Outstanding problem-solver with the proactive ability to \u201Cfigure it out\u201D through curiosity and consistent determination

\u00B7 Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including crafting presentations to communicate financial information to influence decision making

\u00B7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence others and build relationships

\u00B7 Ability to respond to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work

The Value You Deliver

\u00B7 Influencing senior business leaders on key decisions by providing clear and concise evaluations, analysis and financial models.

\u00B7 Developing financial analysis and reporting of BU revenues and expenses including periodic reporting and analysis as well as month-end close processing and variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting and related business commentary.

\u00B7 Supporting ongoing and ad-hoc analysis and develop recommendations, including scenario analysis.

\u00B7 Reviewing junior level analysts work for their assigned BU.

\u00B7 Coaching and develop junior level analysts.
