The Medical Claims Processor is responsible for reviewing and processing healthcare claims submitted by providers to ensure accurate reimbursement.

Location: Work from Home - All candidates must live in the Dallas – Fort Worth Area & have a designated work space at home.

Pay: $18-20/hr. based on experience

Schedule: 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST)

Job Description:

• Verify patient eligibility, reviewing medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review claims and analyze incoming claims for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all required documentation is attached.
• Confirm patient eligibility and medical benefits prior to processing claims.
• Accurately input medical claim information into the billing system, ensuring correct coding and documentation.

Preferred skills/experience:

• One year of healthcare call center experience
• Benefit verification - Prior Authorization
• Medical collections
• Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Co-pay, co-insurance, deductible
• PAP - patient assistance program

Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
