Facility in southern CT is looking experienced ER RN's for an ASAP start. Must have at least 2 years of experience, previous travel experience, and EPIC.Job Requirements

Unit: ER- Main 18000# beds/trauma bays: 30# Psych/seclusion rooms: 6 Locked BedCerts: Minimum BLS and ACLS Prefer TNCC, ENPC, MOABRatios: Nurse 1:4-5, Float Nurse from 11am-11pm, Float PCT 11am-11pmCharge Nurse: Yes 24/7- does not take patientsNurse Aides/Paramedics: PCT 1:10 They perform all CAN type tasks and do phlebotomy, BGM and ECG'sSecurity/Patient sitters: Yes based outside the ERTele/Monitor Techs: All rooms have Phillips intelevue. Nurses must be able to read and interpret strips. No monitor techsVents: Bipap, Vents and high flow O2ED Physicians/Mid-Levels: Both 24/7IV Team: Yes 7am-8:30pm Must try first. Nurse Resource available 24/7 available for IV help 7pm-7amRT 24/7: YesPharmacy 24/7: YesCommon diagnosis/Types of patients: Full service ED level of care. Not a designated trauma center. Pediatric and behavioral health. Must be able to titrate sedation to RASS score. Titration of vasopressors/hemodynamic meds is required.Additional Details
