Junior Buyer

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Junior Buyer to join a manufacturing client in Raleigh, NC. The Junior Buyer plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain by maintaining optimal inventory levels and fostering strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Review MRP requirements and place Purchase Orders
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships
• Initiate sourcing actions as required to support Engineering and/or Manufacturing needs
• Research and evaluate new suppliers to expand the vendor base and optimize procurement strategies.
• Monitor inventory needs and plan for daily demand generated by forecast

Requirements:

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of ERP systems
• Proficient in MS Excel and Access applications, including data queries, analysis, and reporting
• General knowledge of planning and purchasing processes, including inventory management and supplier negotiations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication skills to work with vendors and internal teams.
