Job Description:

The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is recruiting a tenure or non-tenure track surgeon to join the Division of Surgical Oncology with a primary (5/8th) appointment at the Malcolm Randall VA medical Center in Gainesville, Florida.

The academic rank will be awarded based upon the career stage and development of the candidate.

The new physician will join a group of surgeons with a reputation of excellence in patient care and an established track-record of federal and industry funded research.

The Division has a long-standing commitment to both Resident and Fellow education and the new surgeon will be involved in this effort. In addition, applicants will be provided dedication time to pursue academic interests.

Expected Salary:

Salary is negotiable based on education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

This position requires an MD degree or equivalent; board certification or eligibility in general surgery.
