Quality Control Associate - Lamination

Sportsman Boats is looking for a Quality Control Associate in lamination who will implement quality control measures to ensure that high quality standards are achieved on a consistent basis for lamination process. This position strives to improve quality and manufacturing processes on a daily basis. This position will conduct inspections, audits and many other daily projects as needed.

What you will do:

· Promotes and execute quality standards, inspection processes, instruction, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports

· Investigate and determine cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors and team leads as to corrective measures

· Works closely with department managers supervisors, and team leads to ensure good quality product and workmanship standards are being met before and during polish & inspect

· Performs real-time quality assurance checks during production processes

· Participates in improving the work environment through 5S standards

· Executes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

· Reports data back to Mold Maintenance and Tooling Department

To be considered you must have:

· Minimum 2 years of work experience in manufacturing

· Confidence in decision making; willing to push back on production staff when quality or workmanship standards are not being met

· Strong execution capability, time-management skills, and multi-tasking; ability to quickly shift priorities in support of production needs

· Able to work with little supervision in a fast paced-high output production plant · Ability to work in fast-paced, ever changing environment

Preferred Education and Experience

Demonstrated success in improving quality and efficiency

Strong personality, flexible with change

Demonstrate ability to deal with adversity

Bilingual Spanish/English strongly desirable
