Assistant Property Manager

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of our property management department, ensuring efficient and effective management of our properties. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for real estate.Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, prospective tenants, and vendors- Assist with property leasing activities, including conducting property tours and processing lease applications- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate tenant records and property information- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner- Ensure compliance with fair housing regulations and other applicable laws- Assist with the administration of Section 8 housing programs, if applicable- Support the property manager in coordinating maintenance requests and repairs- Assist with the preparation of lease agreements, contracts, and other property-related documentsQualifications:- Previous experience in customer service or property management is preferred- Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle tenant issues or disputes- Knowledge of property leasing processes and procedures- Proficient in data entry and comfortable working with various software applications- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills- Familiarity with fair housing regulations and other relevant laws- Understanding of real estate administrative tasks and contract managementAt our company, we value our employees' contributions and offer a competitive salary based on experience.
