Job Description
Analyst is responsible for underwriting and preparing financial analyses related to the purchasing of single-family homes across a variety of investment strategies and US Markets. Position will report to members of the Acquisitions Team and will work collaboratively with many constituents across the organization.
Summarize key investment analyses, including: estimated initial renovation costs and ongoing repair and maintenance estimates, key revenue and expense data like property taxes, Home Owner's Association fees, insurance, etc., to make home purchase recommendations, which are given significant weight.Establish and build relationships with third party brokers and homeowners to drive business development initiativesResearch housing trends and economic indicators related to target acquisitions marketsComprehensive understanding of migration patterns, employment drivers, and other growth trends within specific marketsPerform valuation recommendations for potential acquisitions of single-family homes or communities of homesReview and interpret third party property reports and market data pertaining to select projects or marketsAnalyze underwriting assumptions and advise the best course of action on a deal-by-deal basisMonitor and leverage historical operating results to inform future acquisitions decisionsAssist in various parts of the deal flow process to support the team in accomplishing acquisition targetsManage the due diligence process (deadlines) for properties targeted for acquisition and assemble information as directedAssist team on various ad hoc projects as requiredQualifications (About You):
Proven analytical skills, ability to problem solve and results / solution orientedSelf-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership of projects, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage competing prioritiesFlexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environmentExecution oriented and understands how to follow steps in a processExtraordinary communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members, key stakeholders in a deal, and senior professionalsCan develop and articulate a point of view to colleagues verbally and in writingHigh level of focus on work quality and attention to detailsMinimum Requirements:
BA/BS 4 year degree1-2 Years Relevant Work Experience preferredHighly proficient with MS Excel and knowledgeable of MS OfficePhysical Demands:

Salary Range
Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.$55,340.00 - $92,240.00
