WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Network Technician will be responsible for providing timely support for network problems and issues. They will configure and support modems, firewalls, routers, and other network devices. This position ensures that Dungarvin networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.

Assist in maintaining Dungarvin's network infrastructure including LAN and WAN and Wi-Fi at all Dungarvin offices and program sites.Help manage internet and phone services and providers.Support the team with procuring, configuring, installing, and testing new network equipment including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi equipment.Assisting with inventory of network equipment.Monitor and report on network traffic and performance.Provide timely support for network problems and performance issues, working with third parties when necessary.Provide support for office cabling and network infrastructure projects.Work with carriers/vendors to configure internet and network connectivity for offices and program sites.Help manage cellular data devices and services.Qualifications

MUST HAVES

Good customer service skills.2-year degree in a computer related field or 2 years of network experience.Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.Strong analytical ability and troubleshooting experience.Proficient in time management (organizing and prioritizing).Ability to prioritize conflicting responsibilities and projects to meet deadlines.Self-starter, independent problem solver.Capable of handling multiple tasks/projects.Attention to detail.Flexible to change.Technical aptitude and capability to learn things quickly.Ability to work flexible hours.Knowledge of LAN/WAN technology.Knowledge of telecommunications systems.Preferred:

2-year degree in computer related field and 2 years of network experience.Experience in router and switch configuration and maintenance.Additional Information
