Our ChallengeThe successful candidate will be an experienced React UI developer. Role will include responsibility for building new User Interface for Finance control tool application.Charlotte, NCSalary: $100K- $110K per annumThe RoleResponsibilities:This role is critical to implementing new Bank wide development processes, upgrading associated toolset to latest technologies and ensuring compliance with Bank policies and standards.Lead the design and development of complex user interfaces using React.Implement modern and responsive UI for the web and a variety of devices.Write high-quality TypeScript and HTML/CSS with a focus on performance and maintainability.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into user-friendly applications.Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.Provide technical leadership to a team of developers, including mentorship and code reviews.Stay up-to-date with emerging UI technologies and best practices.Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within agile methodologies.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Address and remediate any performance issues or bugs.Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines.RequirementsYou are:Strong/expert React JS development skills.Good working knowledge of GITGood OO design skills, knowledge of patterns and architectural understanding.Knowledge and experience of Agile and Lean software development practicesExperience of enterprise application development.Exposure to Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development (TDD).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven global team interaction.Willingness to learn, adopt and advance team best-practices, procedures and qualitative standards.Willingness to own issues and chase them through to completion, communicating effectively and in a timely manner, throughout.Good team communication, with experiences in sharing and presenting new ideas and approaches with the team.Desired Skills:Investment banking experience, with front or middle office team experience advantageous.Appreciation of Risk Awareness (Inc.
