Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Must have active license by start date Certifications: ACLS, Trauma/Neuro experience preferred Must-Have: Cerner experience required for first-time travelers Job Description: - Provide patient care for critical conditions such as sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, trauma, neuro/brain injuries, complicated surgeries, stroke, and encephalopathy.- Work with a target patient ratio of 1:1-3, based on acuity.- Flexibility to float to different units as needed, which may include CICU, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Room.- Weekend requirement of 3 weekends per 6-week schedule block.- Utilize specialized equipment including ceiling lifts, hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, and a wide range of safe-patient handling equipment, as well as Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps.- Documentation and communication through Omnicell, Cerner, and SBAR systems.- Wear navy blue scrubs in compliance with the unit's dress code.- Adhere to vaccination requirements for COVID-19, with no exemptions.- Smoking is prohibited within the facility.- Orientation is not provided on-site, and a fit test is required prior to starting.- Housing options may be available; for details, further inquiry is needed.
