Texas Space Commission is looking for a Military Aerospace Program Manager (Program Management Specialist IV).

The salary is $9,166.67 - $10,416.67 a month ($110,000.04 - $125,000.00 a year).

What Youll Do

This is a job that performs advanced (senior-level) program management specialist work by working in a fast-paced and professional environment involving the creation, development, coordination, implementation, and oversight of the Commissions military aerospace programs. Work involves planning resources, monitoring budgets, and providing consultative services and programmatic assistance to management. Maintaining strict confidentiality and working within tight deadlines are required.

Manages the Commissions military aerospace programs throughout its life cycle by defining goals, objectives, and controls.Manages the Commissions military aerospace programs planning, including the development, implementation, and documentation of processes for specific programs involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing programs, operations, or service offerings.Manages communications with stakeholders to ensure that they are appropriately informed of and aligned with the Commissions military aerospace programs updates, changes, and risk.Identifies military aerospace program requirements and establishes methodology to measure the effectiveness of agency initiatives; identifies program gaps and proposes improvements or enhancements.Ensures that military aerospace program decisions are made in accordance with program requirements; other applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures; and the agencys strategic objectives.Coordinates with internal divisions and departments to achieve complex cross-functional military aerospace program and business outcomes consisting of multiple work streams, and/or works directly with external stakeholders to launch high visibility partnerships and programs.Exhibits and develops in-depth technical and non-technical knowledge of military aerospace programs to mitigate problems.Recommends, develops, and manages the development of military aerospace program standards and tools.Facilitates and maintains relationships between internal and external stakeholders, vendors, , and senior management to achieve performance goals, contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and quality service delivery.Identify opportunities to enhance military aerospace program offerings.Ensure that military aerospace program management team continues to learn new technologies to enhance program knowledge and skill sets.Address compliance challenges and implement changes to address concerns, in coordination with the Chief Compliance Officer.

How Youll Qualify

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in a field relevant to commercial aerospace; andFive (5) years of experience in field related to the military aerospace program.Note: Experience and education may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis.
