Software Buyer - Junior
IntroJoin our dynamic team as a Software Buyer- Junior, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Central Purchasing and Signing team. You will work within the SBMs Office to deliver on the objectives and outcomes aligned with the STS Approval and Signing strategy. This is a 6-month hybrid position requires you to be onsite 3 days a week, with preferred work locations in Austin, TX, Denver, CO, or Phoenix, AZ.
Job Details- Coordinate with the CPSP group on directions for their Pipeline and Purchase priorities.- Partner with Technology, CVM, Legal, and Finance to fulfill Pipeline objectives.- Partner with Technology, CVM, and Finance to take finalized contracts to signature and purchase.- Ensure long-term sustainability of the STS pipeline and purchasing model via a centralized STS purchasing and signing body with clearly defined OKRs.- Enable alignment of CPSP governance processes with top-down pipeline guiding principles.- Ensure flexibility with leveraging 3rd party vendors while safeguarding STS and enterprise from undue risk.- Define governance processes and identify supporting tools to effectively support distributed Agile teams.- Optimize cross-enterprise stakeholder engagement to reduce overall firm risk.
Mandatory Skills- BS in Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (1 - 2+ years).- Experienced in understanding the procurement process for software, hardware, and professional services.- Using Ariba Cloud or a purchasing software a must.- Good analytical skills, including the ability to anticipate issues and design appropriate solutions.- Proven track record with the ability to define and track quality of work output.- Experienced with managing, maintaining, and measuring data models for an organization while safeguarding the enterprise from undue risk.- Experienced with managing software, hardware, and professional services purchases based on demand in adherence to top-down guiding principles.- Excellent communication skills.
Desired Skills- Financial services experience a plus.- Prior knowledge in pipeline management a plus.- Can work with and/or within remote teams setting effectively.- Worked in matrixed or corporate environments previously.
