Job Summary :The Coleman Job Trainer (CJT) will evaluate and provide training and supervision to individuals assigned to the Coleman Enclave.
The CJT will maintain regular communication with the Group Site Employment Coordinator and the Program Director of Employment Services about the individuals’ group employment.Responsibilities and Duties:The CJT supervises designated individuals; provides individuals with work and other assignments and instructions.
The CJT evaluates individuals work performance and reports observations to the Group Site Employment Coordinator.
The CJT documents individuals’ performance and comments related to their individual goal utilizing an Electronic Records System.
The CJT maintains records of attendance, production, and other items as required.
The CJT will have a working understanding of the program’s overall operation as established by written description of services and organizational information.
The CJT works independently without direct daily supervision.
The CJT will attend and complete all required training and in-services.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:High School graduate or G.E.D. preferred with a minimum of (2) years full-time employment. Experience working with persons with disabilities preferred. The candidate must have an acceptable CORI (criminal record assessment) and must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record upon hire and annually.Supervision Given : The CJT supervises his/her assigned trainees.Supervision Received: The CJT is supervised directly by the Group Site Employment Coordinator.
