We Get You MovingWe are looking for a Lead Physical Therapist to join our team!!Compleat Rehab & Sports Therapy started out as a single outpatient practice offering Physical Therapy in Gastonia, NC in 1987. In the 30 years since, weve expanded to more than 15 clinics in North and South Carolina and are continuing to grow. Our service repertoire has developed too our patients now benefit from a diverse set of programs and specialties, from Lymphedema Treatment to Pelvic Floor Therapy. We commit to improving the lives of all we serve, by providing premier patient care and compassionate, personalized service.Compleat Rehab & Sports Therapy is committed to providing our employees with the utmost positive work environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment by following Compleat Rehab policies and procedures.Oversee clinical and support staff (Front Desk/Tech/PTA).Market services to physicians and other referral sources, potentially requiring additional time beyond regular work hours.Assist in clinic growth and development.Provide skilled physical therapy care to patients with impairments, disabilities, or changes in physical function.Record daily clinical and progress notes, ensuring compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and universal guidelines.Coordinate patient care activities to ensure the highest quality of care.Test, evaluate, and record muscle strength and joint measurements to develop and review treatment plans.Instruct patients and caregivers in home programs to promote independence in self-care and daily activities.Administer physical therapy procedures such as electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, traction, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.Record patient progress and communicate significant changes to the referring physician for treatment plan adjustments.Assist in discharge planning and document related activities.Assign and review patient treatments with Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring proper patient progress.Report equipment maintenance needs and make procedural recommendations.Maintain efficient department operations to ensure effective patient treatment.Attend continuing education meetings and report back to staff.Perform related duties as required.Education/Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in an outpatient setting.

(Orthopedic experience preferred)Graduation with Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapist program.Physical Therapy licensure in the state of North Carolina.Evidence of ongoing continuing education in clinical areas.Speaks, writes, reads, and comprehends English.
