The manufacturers signature brands include Belgard and Echelon hardscape and masonry materials; Barrette Outdoor Living and MoistureShield fencing, decking and railing; Sakrete and Amerimix packaged concrete and mortar; Techniseal sands, jointing technologies and surface protectors; PebbleTec pool finishes; plus popular brands of landscape and gardening materials.Job ResponsibilitiesInvolved in the preparation of monthly financial statements, ensuring all statements are appropriately analyzed and correctly statedPerform balance sheet account reconciliationsPerform month-end closing activities accruals, subledger reconciliations, statistical entries, etc.Prepare for and respond to internal and external audit requestsAnalyzes input costs, monitors cost fluctuations, and makes recommendations for adjustmentsPlans and supports physical inventory auditsCompile/analyze financial data from multiple sources by way of Excel, Tableau, Infor M3Recommends and implements improvement to efficiencies of financial processes within department and at all operating sitesPrepares reports to forecast business activity and financial positionWork with the VP of Finance to ensure adequate SOX and internal controls are in place and maintained to safeguard financial assetsProvide training and development for staff in finance management, SOX compliance, and any other needs identified in the departmentOther duties as may be assigned by the VP of FinanceJob RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting with minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting/finance areas/cost accounting, including but not limited to budgets, legal compliance, P&L, SFAS Rules in a manufacturing environmentCPA preferredDemonstrated experience with financial forecasting, and financial statement preparationMust have strong analytical and supervisory skillsDemonstrated Experience with GAAP, IFRS, cost accounting, inventory management and forecastingPrevious Supervisory ExperienceComputer skills: Accounting Software, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, BI ToolsHigh level of proficiency in PC spreadsheets (MS Excel) and ERP/MRP systemsWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
