IT Support Specialist
to its team in Davie, FL!This role requires a skilled IT support specialist who will provide technical assistance to the team and field technicians. The responsibilities involve optimizing the use of hardware and software technologies, enhancing system performance, and safeguarding data. Additionally, this specialist will play a crucial role in advising on IT equipment upgrades.In this role, the individual will be responsible for setting up new equipment for both office and field staff. Their contributions will be pivotal in boosting productivity by ensuring the efficient operation of the company's IT systems.Roles & ResponsibilitiesConsulting with the CIO and IT managers.Providing in-house IT support to office and field employees.Training end-users in hardware functionality and software applications.Resolving logged errors from our ticketing system in a timely manner.Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.Maintaining databases and ensuring system security.Documenting processes and performing diagnostic testing.Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.This role will transition to an ERP specialist role that will provide support to all organizational members regarding ERP training and best practices.Qualifications, Education & TrainingBachelors degree in IT / Computer Science2+ Years experience in IT experienceCertifications preferred for consideration (the more, the better!): CompTIA A+, Microsoft Technology Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Cloud+, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other applicable certifications. Microsoft O365 certifications in SharePoint, Entra, Azure, TeamsSoftware: Vista, Followup CRM, Microsoft 365, Cirasync, Bitdefender, NetExtender, Zoho AssistThermal Concepts
