Job Title:** Registered NurseJob Specialty:** TelemetryJob Duration:** 14 WeeksShift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)Guaranteed Hours:** Not specifiedExperience:** Minimum 1 year; first-time travelers not acceptedLicense:** GA or Compact license must be in hand at the time of applicationCertifications:** BLS, ACLSMust-Have Experience with cardiac drips and hemodynamic monitoring Basic arrhythmia knowledge Knowledge of cardiac medications such as amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, nitroglycerin, milrinone, heparin, argatroban, aggrastat, bumex, and lasixJob Description Manage overflow Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) patients Handle arrhythmia management, cardioversion, and cardiac conditions such as CHF, chest pain, renal, and pulmonary issues Care for patients with conditions like PE, DVT, stable A-Fib, SVT, bradycardia Occasionally care for surgical patients (cholecystectomy, appendectomy, chest tubes, biliary drains) and vascular patients Provide postoperative care for cardiac cath, TR bands, and PCI Care for patients under the Med/Surg umbrella, including occasional ortho or CVA patient overflow Utilize systems such as Epic (preferred), Pyxis, SBAR Adhere to facility requirements for holiday work: work one major holiday if one falls within assignment; work both if two holidays fall within assignment; if three, work any two holidays Maintain availability to complete core items and schedule labs swiftly to ensure on-time start
