Top private medical group in Manhattan seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Client seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team.
Job Function
Diagnosing and treating a variety of endocrine conditions, such as diabetes mellitus (Type 1 and Type 2), thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, and pituitary disorders.Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, emphasizing disease management, prevention of complications, and promotion of overall health and well-being.Prescribing medications, including insulin and hormone replacement therapies, and monitoring their effectiveness, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes.Educating patients and their families about endocrine disorders, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and self-management techniques.Performing procedures such as thyroid biopsies and diabetes management counseling.Collaborating with endocrinologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.Conducting thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests related to endocrine health.
Job Requirements
1-2 years of experience in Endocrinology as a NP/PAActive New York LicenseBoard Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
