We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner to join our client’s healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to provide specialized care to patients with endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid conditions, metabolic and hormonal imbalances, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing chronic endocrine conditions and a strong background in patient education and disease prevention.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and metabolic imbalances.Perform detailed patient assessments, including reviewing medical history, conducting physical exams, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests.Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with endocrinologists and other specialists.Prescribe and manage medications related to endocrine disorders, including insulin, hormone replacements, and other treatments.Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle changes, and preventive care.Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and test results.Assist in the interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic tests to adjust therapeutic approaches.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development related to endocrinology.Requirements:Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Current Nurse Practitioner license in NY.Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP).Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in endocrinology or managing endocrine disorders (preferred).Strong clinical skills in managing diabetes, thyroid disease, and other endocrine conditions.Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Please note- The annual base salary starts at $130k - $170k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
