Must have the following: AART registration, ARRT(CT) preferred Texas Medical Board- MRT BCLS
Equipment: Toshiba experience preferred
Description: Participates in technical duties directly involved with the CT scanner, including developing, initiating, and monitoring procedures for the effective utilization of this modality
Skills: preferred denoted by *
Abdomen and Pelvis -
Abdomen without and/or with contrast Colorectal studies (rectal contrast) Enterography study Intravenous pyelogram Pelvis without and/or with contrast
Chest - Chest without and/or with contrast Heart (e.g., calcium scoring, coronary angiography) * Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
Head and Neck - Carotid Head without and/or with contrast Sinuses Soft tissue neck Trauma head
Image Display and Post Processing - 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering) Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) Region of interest measurement (ROI)
Professional Knowledge and Skills - Isolation Precautions Preparation and/or administration of contrast media Radiation Safety Starting Peripheral IVs Venipuncture Management/lead experience *
Special Procedures - Aspirations * Biopsies * Coronary CTA * Drainage * Vascular CTA
Spine and Musculoskeletal - Cervical Lumbar Musculoskeletal trauma Thoracic
