We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, and with geriatric patients.
Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions- Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Skills- Proficiency in medical terminology related to physical therapy- Experience working in hospital or outpatient settings is a plus- Knowledge of geriatric care and orthopedics- Understanding of physiology and anatomy
