Now Hiring Hospital Security Officers in San Jose, CA!Join our growing team of Security Professionals!Pay: $21.00 / hourShift Details:Must Have Open Availability/Able to work any shiftMust have Valid Guard LicenseDailyPay and Weekly Pay Options!Training and Uniforms Provided!Requirements:

Valid Drivers License With Clean Driving Record (In The Event Of A Driver Needed) Or Government/State IDMust have 2 Years verifiable employment history relating to this position - (Security, Healthcare, Customer Service, Military, Law Enforcement, Corrections)Natural Hair ColorNo Face/Neck TattoosComfortable with Restraining When Needed, Dealing With Combative PatientsComfortable Transporting Patients To The Morgue When NeededComfortable with heights (you may need to assist in helicopter transports back down to the E.R)Comfortable with needles (you will need a TB test and required vaccinations where applicable)Job Duties:

Transporting Patients To The Emergency RoomPatrolling: Walking the hospital grounds and looking for anything suspicious or concerningReporting: Notifying leadership or other security officers of anything importantControlling access: Ensuring that only authorized people can enter and exit the hospital, and that no contraband or hospital items are brought in or outPreventing crime: Trying to stop criminal activity, such as theft, vandalism, and disturbancesResponding to emergencies: Helping with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disastersManaging issues: Addressing security issues with patients or visitors, and using verbal de-escalation skills to resolve safety incidentsMaintaining confidentiality: Being discreet when handling private informationQualifications/Requirements:

At least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (Certificates of Completion not acceptable)At a minimum, 1 year of verifiable work experience in a customer service-related field.Must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.No criminal charges in the past 7 years. No open/pending charges acceptableValid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelinesMust be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting; may require computer skillsAs a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol testAs a condition of continued employment, employee must always maintain current active status of all required License, and must always carry the license while on dutyAbility to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficientlyAnswer phones or greet guests/employees in a professional, welcoming mannerRead, understand and clearly speak English; constantly use speech and hearing in communicating with public/co-workers, giving and receiving instructions, using phonesMust be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment)Physical and Mental Functions:

Climb and descend stairs to all floors of the hospital in the event elevators are not accessible due to mechanical issues or emergency situations.Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various dutiesAssist in lifting patients as needed to either assist nursing staff or help transport expired patientsRestrain violent/combative patients to prevent injuries to themselves and othersRun as neededWork in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat.Closing
