Watch here .The Senior Corporate Counsel (Finance) is a member of the legal team who reports to the Deputy General Counsel, EVP and supports the company’s finance and corporate transactional operations. This includes commercial real estate finance, project finance, secured and unsecured debt financing, structured financing, capital markets, and other corporate transactional matters. This position maintains compliance with relevant contract policies and procedures and provides direct support to the company’s finance and development team and business units.Experience with project finance and commercial real estate finance is required for this position.Responsibilities:

Support all legal aspects of the company’s financing activities, including commercial real estate finance, project finance, secured and unsecured debt financing, joint ventures, structured finance, and capital markets operations, as well as various corporate governance matters.Assist in managing and executing transactions from inception through closing and post-closing integration, including due diligence, coordination of multiple deals and deal flow, working with and managing outside counsel, and negotiation and drafting of various legal documents and agreements such as those pertaining to loans, bonds, joint ventures, syndications, mergers, and acquisitions.Work closely with QTS’s finance, real estate, and development team, managing relationships with outside counsel, investment bankers, lenders, counterparties, and other third parties.Based on the needs of the company, handle various general legal and business matters, including commercial law matters and provide sound legal and business judgment on matters including construction, real estate, reporting and compliance, tax abatements, litigation, etc.Basic Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentialsAdmission to the Bar of a U.S. state or the District of ColumbiaFive or more years of legal experience as a practicing lawyer working in a general corporate transactional practiceSubstantial experience with project finance and commercial real estate financeKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
