Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its San Jose office. The position offers an opportunity to work in areas such as professional negligence, transportation, product liability, or real estate-related litigation. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience with discovery and depositions. A hybrid work schedule is available, though less experienced attorneys may be required to work in the office for additional training and support.Duties:Handle discovery, depositions, and other litigation tasks in civil litigation matters.Work on cases related to professional negligence, transportation, products liability, and real estate litigation.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.Conduct legal research and manage case files.Requirements:1-2 years of experience in civil litigation, including discovery and depositions.Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Strong communication and organizational abilities.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in the State of California (required).Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and case management.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Excellent attention to detail and time management.
